Congratulations to Kristy Hinze and Jim Clark with the announcement of their first child on the way.

Kristy Hinze stepped down from being the host of Project Runway Australia because she wanted to concentrate on getting pregnant, and her studies. Megan Gale is the new host, with the show currently filming in Melbourne.

It would appear it has worked, with the SMH reporting she is well into second trimester. This will be her first child, and Jim Clark’s third. It appears the 36 year age gap is not a negative thing for their relationship.

I am sure she won’t be emulating Heidi Klum host of Project Runway, where she took off her knickers and put them in Jay Leno’s gift bag at the Oscars after party.

In the worst kept rumour in reality TV Kristy Hinze has confirmed she won’t be hosting the third season of Project Runway Australia. Kristy told Sydney Confidential she will be concentrating on her studies and spending time with her billionaire husband.

It is no secret that Kristy is hoping to procreate with her husband in 2011.

Now who will be the new host for the show?

The earlier rumours from this year was that it was going to be Megan Gale. However other people will be desperate for the job.

Nicole Trufino could be another possibility as she has been on US TV hosting Search For A Super Model. Lara Bingle will be putting her hand up but has yet to transition from model to TV star.

Laura Dundovic is the new golden girl of Foxtel so she may also get a chance to throw her hat in the ring. Sarah Murdoch would be fantastic in the role, however she is tied up with Australia’s Next Top Model.

Ok I know I am day’s late on the wedding of the year involving our very own Project Runway Australia host Kristy Hinze, but just blame Twitter it is time sucking.

Anyway the picture above  is Kristy in her Oscar De Le Renta dress. She was wed in the Carribean. There are no pictures out yet of the bridesmaid dresses that were designed by fashion designer and Project Runway Australia judge Jayson Brundson.

The host of Project Runway Australia, Kristy Hinze, will be getting married this weekend in a three day extravaganza. Project Runway judge Jayson Brundson will be making the bridesmaid dress. Unfortunately he nor bridal specialist Henry Roth (also Project Runway Australia mentor) did not get to design the bridal gown, that honour went to Oscar De La Renta.

Here she is with shopping carrying the el cheapo sausages from Woolworths. Did she serve them up at her engagement party in Sydney the other night?

She could have at least gotten the Woolies organic ones, or the Peppercorn Gourmet types. Or for a much better solution sent a minion to Pinos in Kogarah for some quality snags.

Author Kathy Lette Using Gordan Ramsay’s Philandering To Promote New Book.
Popular author Kathy Lette has been opportunistically using the reality TV chef’s philandering on his wife Tania to promote her book. She has sent her book To Love Honour and Betray (Til Divorce Us Do Part).

And has said Lette said she believed Tana Ramsay was handling the crisis the wrong way.
“I don’t think she should be doing that whole standing-by-my-man routine,” Lette said.
“When you have made your entire fortune from perpetuating the myth of being the ultimate family man … it’s hypocrisy.”

Kristy Hinze Furthering Her Education
In the Daily Telegraph it reveals the Project Runway host is furthering her education by sitting for the SATs, which is the equivalent of the HSC. Kristy left school early to further her modelling career. A decision that paid dividends in the long run.

She must be very good at time management, as she has a busy career, a new fiancee to tend to, and million dollar houses to examine on Sydney Harbour. Full story here.

The engagement ring that her billionaire fiancee Jim Clark gave her is huge, but I will leave it up to the three million wedding blogs out there to describe the cut and design of it.

They will be getting married in March in a three day fiesta in Palm Beach Florida.

Kristy Hinze is in Australia this week to shoot the winter campaign for Sportscraft, however she will be back next year to host season two of Project Runway Australia.

Kristy Hines, host of Project Runway Australia, is not going to muck a round with a long engagement. Apparently the invitations have been sent out for a three day wedding spectacular from March 18-20 in Palm Beach, Florida.

Here is an article where she talks about why she loves him so. There is no mention on whether they plan to have children. Congratulations to you both.

Channel Seven Has Apologised For Sonia Kruger’s ‘racist’ Comments.
Channel Seven has apologised unreservedly for Sonia Kruger’s distasteful comments to musical director Chong Lim on the television show Dancing With The Stars.

The network insisted the presenter’s remarks were not intended to be racist, especially as the pair enjoyed a long-standing friendship.

Kruger made the derogatory comments about a “sweatshop of illegal immigrants” slaving away on her wardrobe for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

“Let’s just say there’s a sweatshop full of illegal immigrants working on them right now,” Kruger said before referring to Lim, the show’s Malaysian-born musical director.
“How’s the family, Chong? All right?”

Sonia this week refused to apologise about the remarks. Maybe she was just trying to highlight that Australian designers are known to have their clothes made in sweatshops where pay and conditions are bad…….Ok maybe not.

Natalie Bassingthwaite Admits Her First Audition For SYTYCD AU Sucked.
In an interview in the Sunday Telegraph “The Bass” says her first audition for the Australian version of SYTYCD was not great.

In the interview she reveals:
Because she tried to emulate the style and brash attitude of the successful American version of the show, her first audition, by her own admission, “sucked”.
“I did a terrible audition. I walked away thinking: ‘I’m really bad at this. Even if they want me to do it, I don’t think I can.”’

But Channel 10 programming boss David Mott invited her back for a second audition – and Bassingthwaighte won the job.

Natalie had mixed reviews for her hosting style this year, but she did improve by the end of the season. Lets hope this continues into the next year.

Congratulations must go out to Project Runway Australia host Kristy Hinze on her engagement to 64 year billionaire Jim Clark. The 34 year age gap appears not to bother them.

Just so we are clear that it is not his money she finds attractive she has said about him:

“I never thought I was going to date an older man when I first met him,” she told The Australian Women’s Weekly. “To me, it was different to hang out with someone with something to say that was so interesting and important and who was truly, incredibly intelligent. He’s handsome and has so much charisma – and he’s so funny.”

Jim Clark is not on the record on their relationship so it is unclear whether it is her gorgeous long legs and stunning looks that were the attraction or her sparkling conversation.

Funny how only billionaires with the above mentioned qualities get to marry attractive women three decades their junior. Unless of course if the men get their brides from the Philippines. This is not something I advocate by the way. But of course both of these marriages have something in common and that is money.

If it is not the money for Kristy and she has some granddaddy complex I am very surprised as Russ Hinze was powerful but not very attractive nor suave. For those who are too young to know Russ, he is the one at the front.

Project Runway Host Kristy Hinzes Won’t Be Taking Her Boyfriend To The Seniors Week Concert.

Kristy Hinzes billionaire boyfriend Jim Clarke has come out to Australia for a visit while she is fulfilling her Project Runway duties.

Kristy is 27 years old and Jim is 63. Now Kristy states that it is not his bank account that she finds attractive.

“He is charismatic, handsome, funny and down-to-earth,” Hinze said recently of her 63-year-old beau.
“What more could anyone want in a partner?”

Somehow I think that if she had a met a teacher with those same characteristics she would not be dating him. But then again if Kristy did not have gorgeous long legs and a beautiful face, he would not be dating her.

Survivor Gabon is having Production Difficulties.
The next season of Survivor is already in production, even though Australian viewer are yet to see the Survivor Fan’s V Favourites series. David Gyngell if you are reading this put it on instead of those hideous Bert Newton 20 to 1 shows.

Anyway Jeff Probst is now in Gabon, Africa and there have been problems from encroaching animals and late shipments. Full article on the logistical issues here.
