Bethenny  Frankel has announced there will be no more Bethenny Ever After as she does not want her daughter to grow up onscreen.

Anyway Bethenny does not need to work as she sold her Skinnygirl Margarita for $120 million (that figure may be exaggerated) anyway it was for a lot of money.

Bethenny spotted the opportunity that reality TV can give you earlier then most as was very canny about making it work for her. She started her career on a Martha Stewart reality show where she came runner up. Bethenny was a cook with a healthy bent. Then she turned it into a catering business, including some low calorie muffins, which she did when she was on the Real Housewives of New York. 

Her slightly neurotic but vulnerable persona made her popular with fans and she was given her own reality show, Bethenny’s Getting Married.

She then developed the Skinnygirl Margarita, a low calorie drink, whilst she was on the show and promoted it madly, and then a company brought the drink concept from her for squillion of dollars.

The drink range has Skinnygirl Cosmopolitan as well. They have just been released in Australia.

Now for the sake of reality TV research I have tried both drinks. The margarita is good, in fact, for a pre-mixed drink it is really good, however the cosmo had no flavour at all it was just a sweet mess. I had to add more alcohol to it to give it some taste at all.

Bravo executives must be rubbing their hands in glee, as whilst filming the next series of the Real Housewives of NYC some actual real drama occurred.

Countess Luann’s 16 year old daughter Victoria was seen on a video on YouTube, smoking a joint, and also let fly with a racial slur. Yes it was the N-word.

Ramona Singer who I find to be one of the nuttier housewives tweeted the video on Twitter. Something I find quite reprehensible as I am sure she would be feral if one of her cast mates had done that to her daughter Avery.

Bravo found out about before the Countess and had to tell her what had occurred.  So anyway expect fireworks between Luann and Ramona next series. Source: Pop Eater

Here is Countess Luanne from Real Housewives of New York City on some show singing her non-hit single “Money Can’t Buy You Class” – I am starting to think she is being ironic after watching this fuckery.

As has been hinted previously on this blog that Kelly Bensimon has some MAJOR scenes in Season Three of Real Housewives of New York City, it appears she is still feeling bruised by a few encounters. Here she has filmed a quick anti-bullying message from her spare room, and a camcorder. I blame the advent of YouTube for this garble.

Also in other news the new season’s member Sonja Morgan has been arrested over the weekend for driving over the limit. Generally running through a stop sign will give it away that you are not concentrating. Sonja on the show looks like she is a whole lot of fun. (Source: Dlisted)

Well real singers will be again peeved that a reality TV star has managed to release a single whilst there still playing to 10 people and a dog in a pub, but I think it will the only one.

Here is the Countess singing her single Elegance Is Learned. As you can probably guess from the electronic tone of voice she cannot sing that well. I have seen the episode where she recorded it and her voice is pretty poor. But she does look smoking hot.

However of the two episodes I saw in the USA, the Real Housewives of New York look likes it is going to be fabulous in its third season. Kelly Bensimmon provides some amazing scenes (that is all the spoilers I am going to give).

Also I interviewed Simon Van Kempen, and Alex McCord, which I will put on the blog a week before the series commences here. And when will that be? Well I better get over my jet lag and ask Arena – in other words will get back to you on that one.

During the first two seasons of Real Housewives of New York City we had to listen to Bethenny Frankel’s man troubles and her anxiety over her ticking biological clock. But the good news for her is she has fulfilled these wishes. She married Jason Hoppy last weekend at the Four Seasons in New York, and is also pregnant with their first child.
