In the most unsurprising news of 2011, controversial Australia’s Next Top Model contestant, Cassi Van Den Dungen is pregnant with her fiance Brad Saul’s child.
One face that we won’t be seeing at next week’s Rosemount Australian Fashion Week is 18 year-old Cassi van den Dungen. That’s because van den Dungen is four months pregnant and is taking a year off from modelling. Although suspicions first arose that something was up several days ago, yesterday’s publication of an interview with van den Dungen and her fiancé Brad Saul in the Australian edition ofOK magazine, announcing the pregnancy, appears to have completely flown under the radar – no doubt due to the Royal wedding media frenzy. Van den Dungen managed to keep her pregnancy a secret at last month’s Melbourne Fashion Festival, where these photos (photos on Frockwriter) were taken. No mean feat, considering how body-hugging some of the garments were.

Last night Leigh Westren was seen battered and bruised after a night out on the booze celebrating the up coming finale of The Biggest Loser.
The mystery is who or what made him emerge with a lump the size of a golf ball on his forehead with blood streaming from it.
Is this the downside of having a trimmed down hot girlfriend?
Here are my theories:
- Leigh has been reading this blog and starting to believe the commenters theory that Lara has the hots for Shannon?
- Jarrod Duncan tried to make a pass at Lara and Leigh cracked it and then Jarrod cracked him?
- He hasn’t eaten for the past month to try and take out the title of The Biggest Loser, and after having one shandy hit his head on the toilet bowl whilst being sick?
Whatever the reason he is going to have a very sore head today.
The Biggest Loser finale screens on Channel Ten on Monday night at 8.30pm.

The article states:
One reason Trump’s audience is abandoning him may be that, according to demographic research of primetime television viewers provided exclusively to The Atlantic by National Media Inc., a firm that places political ads on television, the audience for “Celebrity Apprentice” is among the most liberal in primetime television (see graphic above). Rather than add viewers, Trump foolishly appears to be driving them away.“I was surprised to find that the ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ was so liberal, because the audience for [another reality show] ‘Survivor’ is fairly Republican,” said Will Feltus, the senior vice president for research at National Media, Inc. “It’s a weird show because it’s not a regular TV series. But based on MRI ratings, it is clearly a Democratic audience.”

With Dancing With The Stars starting shortly, Channel Seven have announced Joshua Horner as the new judge to take over from Mark Wilson.
With going for Joshua, Channel Seven look like they are targeting a younger viewing demographic.
The Daily Telegraph reports Joshua Horner who is 31 years old has starred in Billy Elliot here and on Broadway and has worked as chief choreographer at Disneyland Anaheim. And girls I don’t know if he is gay or straight. You would have to think he is straight, that would make two of the judges gay. But then it probably does not matter when you have Manu Feildel as a contestant.
If you want to know more about Joshua go to his official website here.
And says he will bring something different to the panel. I think we will be the judge of that.
Speaking of Dancing With The Stars, I am excited about this season, and one of the stars Brynne Edelsten showed her star power, co-hosting The Morning Show.
She looked like a fashion icon in her leopard print dress which showcased her best assets, and each time Brynne and Larry did a segment standing up he had to stand very tall otherwise he was looking into her cleavage.
TV Tonight is not quite as glowing as me about her debut hosting gig, go to his site and see a quick segment of her autocue skills. I don’t care what you say that girl is a star.
The show will premiere on May 8 at 6.30pm.

Finally the cultural (yes I use that word lightly) phenonmenon called Jersey Shore will be hitting free to air TV.
7mate announced the hit program Jersey Shore will premiere on Wednesday, May 11 with a special two-hour episode at 8:30pm.
So brace yourself folks, as it is compulsive viewing at its best.
The reality program follows eight young adults – Vinny, The Situation, Snooki, Sammi, Ronnie, J-WOWW, Angelina and DJ Pauly D – as they move into a summer share house on the Jersey Shore.
Basically it is about watching them get drunk and getting laid. I know not a very interesting plot line, but it is car crash tv at its best. But before you scoff Snooki recently got paid more to speak at a University then a Nobel Laureate. I think there is something wrong with that.
Also as 7 MATE are screening the first season aka before they became famous this the cast at their most “natural” on screen.
Here is my previous blog post on the show which I wrote before it hit MTV.
Also if still undecided on whether to watch it here is a preview:
