Reality TV Where Are They Now Big Brother Contestants
At the end of the ratings year – TV Week has done an article on where some reality stars are now. They even covered some TV shows I had completely forgotten about, OK repressed.
TV Week had this to say about the Big Brother contestants (Other shows to come tomorrow):
Big Brother: Trevor Butler (Season 4) – Earlier this year million dollar winner Trevor Butler quit his job at Gold Coast radio station to become a stay0at-home dad to his two-year-old son, Maika. “It’s awesome,” Trevor says. “I didn’t want to miss out on him growing up. I’ve taught him how to dive off the couch onto cushions, so he’ll either be a stuntman or a professional wrestler with the WWE!” Trevor says he and wife Breea want two more kids. “We’re in a position where we can do it because we own our own house, thanks to Big Brother,” he adds. While at home, Trevor’s trying his hand at writing for TV and has also signed with an agency in the hope of getting acting work. He had a bit part in Chris Lilley’s 2007 series Summer Height High. “I got to see the whole set-up which was good because it’s something I want to get into.
Thomas Haynes and Susannah Murray (Season 7) Two and half years after falling for each other in the BB house, Thomas and Susannah are still a couple. “Things are good,” Susannah says. “We’re one of the longest-lasting Big Brother couples ever. But I understand the pressures of coming into a relation ship out of a show like that,” she adds. “You have to go through the getting-to-know-you process again.” So do they have marriage plans? “Nothing as yet,” Susannah laughs. Thomas is working in real estate, while Susannah’s modelling career has taken off. She’s graced the cover of Zoo 13 times, has even appeared in European men’s magazines. The pair often see their fellow ’07 housemates, icluding Nick Sady and Aleisha Cowcher. “We’re a tight-knit bunch,” Susannah explains.
Jo Ashton (Season 3) The lawyer and model gave birth to daughter Sienna a year ago. “I absolutely love being a mum, ” she gushes. Although Jo gained 25 kg while pregnant, she got back into shape for a Zoo shoot six months ago. “It was good motivation,” she says.
Krystal Forscutt (Season 6) She did some saucy magazine shoots, but Krystal is now studying acting at LA’s famous The Groundlings School She also scored a bit part in Packed To The Rafters last year. “I wish my character was recurring!” she says.
Camilla Severi (Season 6) After falling pregnant to co-worker Glen Krohn at Brisbane radio station B105FM in 2007, Camilla is now mum to two-year-old Charlie. She’s still working at the station and is blissfully happy at home. “I count my lucky stars often,” she says. “I’m blessed.”
Kate Hastings (Season 6) Katie works as a health, lifestyle and entertainment co-ordinator for a mining company. She doesn’t talk about Jamie Brooksby, her boyfriend in the house, simply stating: “He’s my past.”
Aleisha Cowcher (Season 7) Aleisha’s romance with Billy Bentley lasted for two years after BB was over. “it just ended up being a friendship,” she explains. As for the prize money Aleisha won, she reveals: “I haven’t spent it yet!”
Terri Munro (Season 8) Six weeks after her win, grandmother Terri returned to her job as Coles – and she’s still there. After paying off her house, she still has more than half her winnings. “Everything’s very normal,” Terri says.
